![]() It might seem like a bit more of a pain in the but, but it'll be worth it in the long run. If this is the case, there is nothing you can do except ask the sender to share pictures to you via email instead or try things like Facebook Messenger, Dropbox, or Google Drive. This can be common if you're texting someone who lived in the country/out-of-town/out of city limits. If you're only having trouble seeing pictures from one particular sender over and over and over again, and you can sometimes see pictures, but not at other times, it may be the person works or lives somewhere that has a block or throttle on the network. If the person sending you pictures is on a slow network, it is likely the issue is coming from their end. If not, move on to step 3.Īt the end of the day, this problem might not actually be on your end. If the problem was an old corrupt file, your issue is likely solved. Signing out of iMessage will delete all those old pesky files and re-download them onto your iPhone as new from Apple's servers. Is it possible that you have a corrupt file somewhere in your iMessage system? Maybe. If MMS Messaging was on, move on to step 2. If MMS Messaging was off, that's probably what was causing the problem, so be happy! That's an easy fix. Scroll down and check to see if the MMS Messaging switch is toggled on. If MMS Messaging was off, that's probably what was causing the problem, so be happy That's an easy fix. If you have MMS disabled on your iPhone, you won't be able to send or receive multimedia messages like photos, videos, or audio clips. Scroll down and check to see if the MMS Messaging switch is toggled on. You know when you see those green bubbles but you should really be seeing the blue ones? That's when iMessage is unavailable. So please help! I'd love to go back to using the Chrome engine because of several factors, but I haven't been able to find a fix for this.Your iPhone supports MMS, as well as SMS - or Short Message Service - which is a more simplified way to send a text message, for times when iMessage is unavailable. And sometimes they just plain don't work after 7 or so seconds, which sometimes even requires a reboot of my pc if I want to watch more videos! Another issue I've had is that youtube videos (or any video for that matter) in chrome, when in full-screen mode won't go over the taskbar. Zooming in doesn't fix the issue, as I said before when I do, it still appears that pixels are missing(? Please correct me if I have the wrong terminology), so it doesn't help if I do that. It's so much clearer and I can't figure out why. The thing is though that I love chrome! And I'd just rather use it than Firefox. I should probably mention that I use Comodo Dragon and Ice Dragon instead of Chrome and Firefox respectively (but they are pretty much exactly the same as their counterparts minus some details) and having used the actual Chrome and Firefox before I can confirm that this problem was exactly the same there as well. When I view pages in chrome it just seems more fuzzy, and if I enlarge it I find that pixels seem to be missing from the edges of letters or something, at least, the letters aren't as solid as they are in Firefox. In the Google Photos app, hit the 3-line menu button at the top left and select Settings > Backup & Sync > Device Folders and turn on the folders you also want backed up. If this has already been covered in another post please someone send me a link and I apologise for starting a similar one.īasically it's in the title. If you save the photo from your text message to your device, you can have Google Photos backup your downloads folder on your device along with other folders on your device. Searches in the past about this have left me with little satisfaction: there are extensions to make pages easier to read but nothing about the clarity of the letters/pictures in each browser. Hi there, I've been having this in the back of my mind for a while, and finally thought I'd ask someone about it.
